Just before your wedding, stress is all around you. Meditation can help you deal with this. Spend 10 or 15 minutes before you start your day meditating. It will help you relax, and it will also clear your mind, helping you deal with the day’s stresses better. If you have never meditated before, there are a lot of online resources that can help you learn the basics.
Spending Time at the Spa
Schedule a whole day at the spa sometime in the week before your wedding. This is particularly important if you have a very busy schedule, so make it a priority! A day at the spa will calm your agitated mind and help you feel fresh again. This will help you get through the rest of your wedding chores with your best effort. Being more relaxed will also help you look your best at your wedding.
Getting Enough Sleep
Don’t go without sleep, no matter how much you have to do. Sleep deprivation may help you get a little more done right now, but it will stress you out and drain your energy, making you unable to do as much later. It will also give you dark circles and puffy skin around your eyes. Eight full hours of sleep is beauty sleep.
Giving yourself a good detoxing will help clear and focus your mind while making you healthy. Drink eight glasses of water or other low sugar drink every day. You should also eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.
Exfoliating Your Skin
You should regularly exfoliate your skin in the weeks before your wedding. This will help you look your best and can help you feel your best. Two or three times a week is ideal. You can use a commercial exfoliation scrub, or go with an all natural homemade scrub. Just mix papaya juice, tomato juice, lemon juice, and rice flour into a paste. The combination of gentle acids and mild abrasives will do wonders.
