We use several styles during your wedding. Journalistic photos are when we just observe and capture the moment as it happens. There are moments when we will need to place you in the right light and flattering poses but we make the moment look natural, this is posed photojournalism. Family portraits will be posed.

Most weddings are 8 hours long and can cover both couples getting ready, bridal party photos, the ceremony, family formals, couple’s portraits, cocktail hour, first dance, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss. Couples may have additional entertainment or do a grand exit that goes beyond 8 hours. Contact us to discuss your needs for the day.

This will depend on many factors. Will you and your fiancé be getting ready at different locations that are more than 20 minutes apart? Will you be missing out on your cocktail hour by taking couples photos? We can discuss this in more detail when you contact us.

When you book us, we require a 20% retainer. This will keep your date and time secured. The retainer will be refundable for dates in 2022 through 2023.

Yes, we carry $1,000,000 business liability insurance ($2,000,000 general aggregate). We can provide your venue with a Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request.

During our pre-consultation we will go over all the family members and VIPs that need to be photographed. You can also provide us with a short list of photos that you believe will be overlooked – like a family heirloom or during family formals. Otherwise, we prefer not to work with a list as this will hinder our creative process. Trust us and our storytelling techniques to capture all the key moments and people.
