⁠⁠Kevin & Tess are from the UK and had to postpone their wedding for two years because of the pandemic. When the travel ban was lifted they were very excited to finally have their December wedding at #RockefellarCenter⁠. It was perfectly decorated for them. ⁠

Here are three things I`ve learned about myself because of the pandemic:⁠
⁠
1. It`s okay to not be in control - There`s nothing like mother nature to teach us all lessons in not being in control. The best thing we could do in a forecasted natural disaster is to prepare, which makes us retain some sort of control but a lot of us weren`t prepared for this pandemic and that`s okay. Worrying can only get you so far. Get help where needed but, most importantly, learn from this so that you`re more prepared for next time.⁠

2. I was so out of shape! - Even though I walked a lot in the city and was on my feel a lot, I was still out of shape. Quarantining didn`t make things any better... lol. I started taking care of myself in the form of eating healthier 🥦 and actually appreciating the natural flavors and taste of vegetables, and being more active (running 5ks 🏃🏾‍♀️).⁠
⁠
3. I don`t take too many photos of myself - I know! As a photographer I don`t have too much time to take photos myself.... besides, I prefer to be behind the camera. These past 2 years have showed me the importance of having my legacy in photos. I lost my grandmother in 1995. I realized one day that I don`t remember what she sounds like. I remember what she looks like and have lots of pictures of her but I wished that I had audio or video of her. I`ll definitely be taking more photos and videos of my family... and myself.⁠

Now that we are moving towards the end of the pandemic, we can breath a sigh of relief but the effects of these 2 years will be ingrained in my psyche for some time.⁠
